From an award-winning financial journalist to a PhD in corporate governance, social economy, and social finance, with advisory roles at Ramboll and PwC—now at Forever Sustainable. I am deeply committed to the role of business in society, which I now realize through strategic advisory services on sustainability reporting, CSRD, and CS3D, as well as social impact and social finance. Above all, I specialize in identifying new ways for stakeholders to develop cross-sector collaboration, where businesses, civil society organizations, and the public sector co-create with financial markets, philanthropists, and academia—pooling resources and expertise for sustainable value creation.
Welcome to my homepage! If you have a special interest in issues related to sustainability, social sustainability, social financing, the “S” in ESG, corporate governance on a modern capital market, long-termism, an inclusive market economy, cooperatives and communication, you will find plenty of things to read. Currently I act as Advisor to corporates on issues related to the sustainability regulations CSRD and CS3D, this includes both green and social perspectives. My special field of expertise relate to the role of business in society, sustainable value creation and cross sectoral collaborations, systemic change enabled by social financing and the importance of impact measurments. The Swedish property sector has been very relevant in this matter. I develop impact reports for NGOs, deliver workshops and educate actors in using new financial instruments that can contribute to the forming of a Swedish social financial infrastructure.
However, I carry with me a background as prizewinning financial journalist and researcher at Stockholm School of Economics Research Institut SIR and Centre for Sustainability Research CSR. I completed a doctoral degree as affiliated with Center for Governance and Management Studies (CGMS). There I focused on corporate governance issues related to the theory of the firm, institutional investors and capital market regulation. I also lectured, teaching Mergers and Acquisitions at the Master level at SSE. My research thereafter focused on the development of a Swedish social financial infrastructure. Previously I worked with social financing at both PwC Sweden Sustainability unit and Ramboll Management Consulting.
Now I leverage on all this knowledge at Forever Sustainable where I advise organizations in their transformation, their CSRD reporting and CS3D implementation and cross-sectoral collaborations (public sector-the private business community- civil society, financial institutions and philantrops and academy).
I have now broadened my repetoar to the full sustainability agenda, including green challenges related to climatchange, climate adaption, LCA, circularity and biodiversity. All this packaged as advisor, lecturer, speaker and moderator, researcher and reportwriting, strategic communications, management support and workshops.
Here you can stop reading and move to my other pages, but if you wish more background - I have been around professionally for 40 some years - just continue.

I have extensive knowledge of long term sustainable value creation and inclusive market economies, which includes opening up Sweden for different ownership models, enhancing the small shareholders role in relation to the classic Swedish controlling shareholder-model and including employees as a relevant partner in corporate governance. This includes abook about employee owned cooperatives, a model that work dilgently in many countries but lack institutional support in Sweden. I have added the social economy to my portfolio, working with the creation of a market for social financing, including social bonds and SIB:s. A first report came out December 2019. After that I have written reports on the theme for Global Utmaning, Ramboll and PwC. In 2024 I wrote a PwC-report on blended finance for NGO:s investing in social infrastructure.
I frequently participate as lecturer, speaker and panellist. I also moderat. I have been involved in the governance of Skandia, as a member of ProSkandia and previously as director of the General Assembly. I have been affiliated with the Swedish Shareholders Association, the independent think tank Global Challenge and a director of the Swedish Academy of Board Directors, Stockholm region. Previously I was affiliated to JKL Communications as independent advisor.
I defended my dissertation "An Institutional Analysis of Cross-border Hostile Takeovers" in December 2012. The dissertation addresses shareholder value, short-termism and regulatory arbitrage on the Swedish stock market during the sixth takeover wave. It describes the Swedish governance-system, takeover market and regulatory development and gives it an international perspective. Three longitudinal case studies are presented - dealing with Skandia, Capio and Scania.
I have a background as a prize winning financial journalist, and author of a number of books.
I gained my DHS-diploma from Stockholm School of Economics in 1986 with a major in finance. After that I spent 20 years in financial journalism. I worked for different financial papers based in Stockholm - the weekly Affärsvärlden, the dailies Finanstidningen, Dagens Nyheter and Dagens Industri, as well as the pioneer website E24. In 1999 I acquired the CEFA-degree (Certified European Financial Analyst). I have co-authored three books. The first two are about ABB and Skandia, two companies that crasched around the Millenium. The books are in-depth studies of management strategy, corporate governance, board relations and the role of shareholders. The third book is about Skandia and the hostile bid on the company during 2005. This Skandiabook (2010) was an effort to understand transformed and transforming conditions for governance in the context of unrestricted capital movement, hedge funds and the like, and prevailing ideologies of governance. It is a study of corporate governance in financial capitalism. This book is also part of my dissertation.
In April 2014 I published a Swedish popularization of my thesis (Fientliga Bud. Teorierna. Makten. Kortsiktigheten, SNS Förlag). I am winner of Hasse Olssons Prize in financial journalism, an award I gained for my coverage of ABB in 2001. I have also been ranked top Financial Journalist, Svensk Image for a number of years.
In April 2016 I published a book about about a new view on the future of Swedish ownership, long term value creation and pluralism (En hållbar ägararkitektur för Sverige), supported by the think tank Global Utmaning.
For my doctoral thesis I received a research grant (2007-2010) by the Handelsbankens forskningsstiftelser to pursue research into the theme of 'Corporate Governance in Financial Capitalism'. After that my research involved the role of institutional investors as long term owners. It was supported by Torsten Söderbergs forskningsstiftelse (2013-2015).
